I just read an article in Boston.com (link below) equating our winter doldrums with the Kubler-Ross Grief Cycle which you might know as the "five stages of grief". I get it. I'm in denial right now, expecting to shift to anger soon; my bargaining involves chocolate, but acceptance may come if I get out my cross country skis!
Five Stages of Grief, New England Winter
We have some members in the congregation in need of help with snow removal. Please contact me if you are able to help.
We are planning to be here Sunday the 8th, but we are aware that there is MORE SNOW on the way. Should we cancel worship on Sunday, we will send out another enews late Saturday or early Sunday morning.
This Sunday, we are having a Congregational Meeting and potluck. The warrant is below. Please bring a salad, main course or dessert to share. Child care provided. Because of the snow, the Congregational Meeting and potluck have been rescheduled to March 1st.
Warrant 020815
Be safe. Spring is coming. I promise.
Blessings, Beth
